Many of our students do not have books at home with which to practice their reading skills. To make sure our students have access to these resources, we provide them with new and gently used books, given by generous donors – people like you.
Students, many of whom have never owned a book of their own, are overjoyed when they receive our books. They are excited to know they will be able to continue practicing the reading skills our volunteer tutors have helped nurture. When you donate books to the Rising Stars program, you’ll help our students achieve academic success and support the caring, compassionate and selfless gifts Rising Stars Volunteer Tutors share with these students.
